Cedor B. Aronow, attorney and pioneer oilman, was born in Odessa, Russia, on September 2, 1910. In 1916, with his parents, he became a citizen of the United States, later obtaining a law degree from the University of Washington. He was admitted to the Montana State Bar in 1933, and maintained a law practice in Shelby for 50 years.
